Premium Prints are the intermediate step between the Museum and the Ready to Print. Each print is individually color corrected and if matching originals a surer method than the Ready to Print*. No Photoshop Retouching is applied to Premium Prints except color and density correction. A test print is provided for client feedback at no charge.
Please note that there is 90% probability of matching photographic originals on photographic paper. Inkjet prints are harder to replicate (than photos) since colors and densities of Inkjet prints – Inkjet color shifts have no photographic equivalent - vary from those of the Lightjet making the differences noticeable. Recreating a Lightjet print from an Inkjet sample requires Retouching rather than standard color correcting therefore not considered a Premium Print.
Ready To Print are prints made from print ready digital files without dodging and burning, or localized corrections.
If future copies are needed we recommend getting a CD of printed images at a small fee to ensure color matching as and when needed with a reminder that digital prints are processed with photo chemistry meaning that there will be variations in final print even from same files.
