Images must be “to size” (eg: 4”X6” print requires a 4”X6” file)
Images must have a resolution of 300 ppi (pixels per inch) and be in RGB color mode.
Lightjet files must be RGB – TIFF or JPEG – in Adobe 98 color space
Machine prints require sRGB color space and TIFF or JPEG format
Files must be Tiff or Jpeg, 8 bits per channel with no alpha channels. Any cropping or borders must be in the file – additional charges will apply if we need to crop or add borders to your images.
In addition to files meeting above criteria, it's imperative to work with a calibrated and profiled monitor to adjust and view digital files to get predictable color results. Without a calibrated monitor the colors of the prints could vary significantly from what is seen on a non calibrated screen. There can never be an exact match between prints and any monitor, but the images will look very similar if to a how they look on a calibrated monitor.
gKing is always pleased to offer the use of calibrated monitor to check files before submission.
