FTP Instructions:
Using the internet to order your digital prints is as easy as dragging and dropping files from one folder to another. You can also email your files, but be aware of the file size restrictions of your email server.
OUR FTP SERVICE HAS CHANGED EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 2, 2005.
You can now transfer files directly from your browser (eg. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, etc.). You no longer need an FTP client application, nor do you need a login ID and password. Your e-mail address will be used to identify your order and to notify that your order has been received and is in process. For security purposes, neither you nor anybody else (other than our technicians) will be able to see the images files once they have been uploaded to our server.
Mac Users: Our FTP transfer will not work with Internet Explorer on the Mac. Please use Safari instead.
There are two ways you can transfer files to our server. If you already have Java installed on your computer, you can use either of the two options:
1) Drag and Drop (requires Java). You will find a link to install the latest version of Java on our FTP transfer page. This method is convenient if you have a lot of files to transfer or if you want to transfer an entire folder. Once the files are transferred, send an e-mail to sales@gkingphoto.com with your print instructions and contact info.
2) Browse and Click. (does not require Java). If you are transferring less than 8 files at a time, and don't want to install Java, you can browse to the image file you want to send, and click 'Open'. Repeat for each file that you want to send. Enter your print instructions & contact info in the comments section and then click 'Send Files'.
